scythe Platform Privacy Notice

This page describes what we collect when you use scythe and how we keep that data protected. We gather information only when you register, deposit, withdraw, or contact our support team. Our scythe platform uses industry-standard encryption and does not sell your personal information to third parties.

We collect your email address, national ID number, and proof of address during account verification. We use this data to confirm your identity and comply with Indonesian anti-money-laundering regulations. We retain your records for seven years after your account closes, then delete them unless law requires us to keep them longer.

Our scythe servers may sit outside your jurisdiction. Your data travels encrypted between your device and our infrastructure. We share payment information only with our payment processors — the banks and e-wallet operators you choose when depositing via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, or virtual account.

What Data We Collect on scythe

When you open an account on scythe, we ask for your email address and password. You then provide your legal name, national ID card number, date of birth, and proof of address. We photograph or scan these documents and store them in our secure servers.

As you use scythe, we log every transaction — deposits, withdrawals, football selections on Liga 1 or Champions League, live-dealer table play, slot spins, esports picks, everything. We record the amount, payment method (QRIS, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet), timestamp, and outcome. This transaction history is yours to review anytime in your account.

We also collect technical data — your device type, browser, IP address, and how long you stay on the platform. This helps us detect fraud and technical issues. We do not use this data to profile you or sell to advertisers.

Payment data and processors

We do not store your payment method details ourselves. When you deposit via mobile banking, we redirect you to local payment's payment page. online payment processes your payment and returns a confirmation to scythe. We see only that your deposit was successful and the amount — we do not see your e-wallet credentials or banking details.

The same applies to mobile banking, local payment, online payment, and bank virtual accounts. Each payment processor handles your credentials. We rely on their security. For withdrawals, we use the same method you deposited with, so your funds return to the payment system you authorized.

Data processors: Our scythe platform uses third-party processors for hosting, payment handling, and customer support ticketing. All processors sign agreements to protect your data according to this policy.

Cookies and tracking on scythe

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences (like language or timezone). These are functional cookies — they make the platform work. We do not use marketing cookies or sell data to advertisers.

When you visit scythe, your browser stores a session cookie containing a unique ID. This ID authenticates you without requiring you to re-enter your password every page load. The cookie expires when you log out or after a period of inactivity.

We at scythe keep your data encrypted, retained only as long as needed, and shared only with processors bound by confidentiality agreements.

Our scythe Data Protection and Your Rights

We encrypt all data in transit (between your device and our servers) using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Data at rest (on our servers) is encrypted with AES-256. Your password is hashed using bcrypt — we never store it in plain text. Even our team members cannot see your password.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Once you close your scythe account, we keep your records for seven years to comply with anti-money-laundering and tax reporting requirements. After seven years, we delete your data unless law requires retention.

Your rights under our scythe policy

You have the right to request a copy of all data we hold about you. Contact our support team and we will provide your account information, transaction history, and documents within ten business days. You can also request that we correct inaccurate data — if your address has changed, tell us and we will update it.

You can request account closure anytime. When you close your scythe account, we do not delete your data immediately — we retain it for the seven-year period mentioned above. This is required by Indonesian law, not our choice. If you have specific questions about your data retention, reach out to our support team.

Third-party access and disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal information with marketing companies, data brokers, or advertisers. We share information only when required by law — for example, if a government agency issues a valid legal request, we may provide transaction records.

Our payment processors (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment) see transaction data because they handle the payment. Our hosting provider sees encrypted data because our servers sit on their infrastructure. Our support ticketing system may see portions of your email history if you contact us. All these third parties are bound by contracts to keep your data confidential.

Updates to our scythe privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. If we make material changes — such as new data collection practices or different retention periods — we will notify you by email and post a notice on the scythe platform. Your continued use of your account after notification indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
